I'm a husband and father, deacon and Sunday School teacher. I'm a member of Mensa and the NRA, and I'm a Texan.
I believe the Bible, and that Jesus is God's Son and died to save me from my sins, although I wasn't sure for a while. I'm convinced now, and while I can argue my faith and the Christian cosmology effectively, I don't have a right to make you listen.
A word of warning - if your belief requires killing me for mine, please be aware that I live in Texas, and we don't take that stuff lightly, and most of us are armed. Don't try that martyr crap here - we'll bury what's left of you with a pig, and it won't count.
I'm very conservative, although I didn't start off that way. I believe you have a right to be a liberal, and I still have a few liberal friends. I believe most liberals are misguided and/or ignorant; only the ones at the top are actually evil. "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil," so I will make fun of all liberals and liberal ideas.
Liberals are open and inclusive and tolerant, therefore they have to accept my culture, a culture which encourages me to ridicule and marginalize them and their ideals. Cool, huh?
I'm probably not serious enough, most of the time.
