BethAnn caught her first fish Saturday afternoon!

I took this pic with my cell-phone camera, then unhooked the fish. She carried it around for a couple of minutes and showed it to everyone around before throwing it back in.

She was using a cheap Wal-Mart lure (because glowing mutant frogs don't have to be expensive) and her spiffy purple and pink Shakespeare rod & reel.

BethAnn was extremely proud and excited (me, too!), and told everyone, "Now I'm a fishergirl!"

Egg section at the grocery store, 7:15PM the evening before Easter Sunday.

Have these people not heard of plastic eggs?

I know this because he was riding one of those motorized carts around Wal-Mart while he shopped.

Found this CNN satellite truck in west Texas, and my wife couldn't resist a little editing.

You can click to enlarge the pic, but she stuck her finger in a mud puddle and crossed out CNN and wrote "Fox News" under it.

As she was walking away, I saw that the driver was back in the work area of the truck the whole time! 

Just east of Alabama on I-20, moving about 10 MPH in a construction area. Makes you feel sorry for motorcyclists!

At each end of this trail are entrances to anthills. Given the traffic back and forth, maybe just one anthill.

I presume the ants cleared the path; I wonder why there are patches that are completely bare of anything larger than a grain of sand, while they left larger rocks directly in other parts of the path?

BethAnn is named after Ann - and Lynn's sister Beth.
